Description

The Skin Illustrator AHS Coven Palette is a compact, travel-friendly version of the custom palette designed for American Horror Story by Makeup Department Head Eryn Krueger-Mekash. It includes two exclusive shades, Coven and Asylum, tailored for a variety of FX applications, including natural beauty, aging effects, and fantastical characters like zombies and witches.

This palette is perfect for on-set touch-ups and can be layered with other Skin Illustrator palettes or liquids for full customization. The colors are highly pigmented and alcohol-activated, providing rich, durable coverage on skin, prosthetics, and appliances while maintaining flexibility and blendability.

To activate, use Skin Illustrator Activator or 99% alcohol. Avoid using 70% alcohol, water, acetone, or MEK. For removal, use Telesis Beta Solv, Super Solv, or Makeup Remover, making it a reliable choice for fast-paced production environments and professional FX artists.

Instructions

• Activate the colors in the Skin Illustrator AHS Coven Palette using Skin Illustrator Activator or 99% alcohol. 
• Lightly wet a brush or sponge and work it into the palette to release the pigment. 
• Apply to clean skin, prosthetics, or appliances in thin layers, building color gradually for the desired effect. 
• Allow each layer to dry before adding more detail. 
• Avoid using water or 70% alcohol. 
• Remove using Telesis Beta Solv, Super Solv, or a professional makeup remover.
